Mr. Barber brings 20 + years of management and corporate development experience and in the founding, funding, and development of start-ups. He has a degree in Aquatic Biology from the UC Santa Barbara and an MBA from the University of Colorado. He has worked closely with multiple private companies as CEO, investor, board member, and advisor and with investors in the private funding of startup ventures as a charter member of the Maverick Angels investment network.

He is the founder and former CEO of DVDPlay (www.dvdplay.com) which was sold to NCR for the automated physical distribution of DVD rentals through networked kiosks now branded as, “Blockbuster Express”.

Mr. Barber became the CEO of Displaytronix Inc. a provider of specialized repair technologies for flat-panel displays where he accomplished a corporate turnaround within one year and completed its sale to Celestica Inc, (www.celestica.com ) one of the top-4 global leaders in contract manufacturing.

As an early employee of Amgen, Inc (www.amgen.com ), he was part of the scientific staff in Biology, Biochemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, and Combinatorial Chemistry.

Currently he is the co-founder and CEO of ISOmatrix, Inc (www.isomatrix.com), focused on business management consulting and environmental management.

Personal Interests include: Skiing, mountain biking, and dirt bikes. At different times he has been a competitive springboard diver, a professional skydiver, a high-dive performer, a ski patroller, a lifeguard, a competitive beach volleyball player, and has coached multiple age-group sports teams.
